963 Chevy Nova SS (tribute, originally a Chevy II) - high end build, very fresh, and fully sorted. This is a very high-end restomod build of a very solid 1963 Chevy II - the seller is also the builder and owns a professional restoration/car building shop on Cape Cod. he built this for himself so you know it's a no expense spared build using the best parts. This took hi a few years to do and now he's going in a difference direction (Old Bronco's).
Some highlights about this car:
Engine: All new 383 Stroker Small Block Chevy - pushing about 400hp and 450 lbft of torque, Edelbrock dual plane "air gap" intake, 750 DP carb w/electric choke, ceramic headers, FloTek aluminum heads, billet pullies, aluminum radiator, electric thermostatic controlled fan (puller), aluminum water pump, MSD Ignition, this is a very strong mill which pulls like a freight train! Stainless steel gas tank.
Trans: Heavy Duty / rebuilt Turbo 350, shift kit and cooler - all newRear End: All new CURRIE rear, based on the Ford 9" - can easily withstand 1,000 HP - 3:73 posi, car is mini-tubbed although you may not even notice it.
Brake / Wheels: 4-WHEEL POWER disc brakes / Halibrand wheels front and back - 15X5(w/155/60-15 tires) and 15x10 (w/295/50-15 tires) - all new wheels, brake system and tires.
Suspension: A complete pro touring front end and engine cradle has been grafted onto this car. Upper and lower tubular A-Frames, full rack'n pinion steering setup (manual), thick sway bar w/HD adjustable end links, all new stainless brakes hoses and lines. This front end coupled with the front body struts really tighten this car up and allows it to handle like it's on rails!
Interior / Trunk- again, all new. Radio Delete panel is a nice touch, all new seats - front and rear (notice the rear seats are not narrowed which is usually the case on cars that have been tubbed). All new headliner, door panels, kick panels, and the car's wiring harness is all new as well. Autometer 10k Tach with shift light, tri-gauge setup under the dash which shows oil pressure, Volts, and Water Temp. Windows, heat, defrosters, and dash lights work great. The custom wood wheel is attached to a Flaming River tilt steering column. The Floor Mounted B&M shifter is a nice "day two" touch. The trunk is completely finished and is the home of the car's battery. This aids in traction as well as cleaning up the engine bay.
Paint & Body: Ok this is what separates the men from the boys - the paint on this little beast is over the top. PPG base coat/clear coat sprayed in a current Cadillac hue will make is easy if, God Forbid, you have a need to respray it. The panel are flat and there is virtually ZERO orang peel in it (see the reflections). The Car's stance is bad ass, and it has a tremendously sinister look from all angles. Days and days were spent making sure this car was straight block sanding it to perfection.
I'm sure I'm forgetting something, if you have any questions please feel free to email/text/or call me - thanks Dave.
